Ukraine's armed forces are getting stronger.
The Belarusian dictator does not stop talking about the fact that his country should be ready for war. On May 11, Lukashenka held a meeting on the technical equipment of the Belarusian army. Information is emerging that hospitals are allegedly being prepared in the country. This is an alarming signal.
This was pointed out in a conversation with "Channel 24" by the executive director of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation Dmitry Zhmaylo, recalling that before the full-scale invasion, the center prepared weekly analytical materials and said that one of the elements that indicated that Russia was preparing an invasion was the rapid deployment of field hospitals.
Analyzing Belarus's recent activity, statements and Lukashenko's orders, Zhmaylo does not rule out that all of this could be called for the implementation of the IPSO. Reflecting on whether this country is capable of joining the war against Ukraine today, he expressed his belief that Belarus is well aware of the capabilities the AFU now has, and also sees that the Russians' advance has been slowed down to a minimum that was not seen during the full-scale invasion.
"I am not saying that we have turned the tide, but we are in a better position than we were six months or a year ago. The Western press is writing about this, and the Ukrainian military is pointing this out. The deputy head of the OPU, Brigadier General Pavlo Palisa voiced that one square kilometer costs the occupants more than 300 lives," Zhmaylo said.
Zhmaylo is sure that if the dictator decides to make a provocation, there may be several Ukrainian strikes near Gomel, Mozyr on the refinery, and then the Belarusian economy will collapse.
- We keep thousands of military personnel on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, which we can't transfer to other important areas. It is possible that the work of Russian DRGs on the border will be strengthened. There are such cases when Russian saboteurs make forays into Ukrainian territory, conduct mines along the routes of our border patrols, and attack them," Zhmaylo said.
To sum up, the executive director of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation noted that one should not forget that the Belarusians are building infrastructure, are going to deploy UAV control centers, but it is unlikely, in his opinion, to reach real aggressive actions towards Ukraine.
Zhmajlo is sure that Lukashenko realizes that if Russia goes down, it will want to pull Belarus down with it.
