Mogilev Residents Were Warned About Explosions

May 26 and 27, Mogilev will hold a comprehensive command-staff exercise to test the readiness of Interior Ministry units to act in special conditions, reports "Belsat".
In connection with the exercises from 10:00 to 16:00 on the specified days will be closed traffic on the following streets:
Gagarina (from Pushkinsky Avenue to Nepokoronny Boulevard - in the area of the entrance to the parking lot of the shopping center "E-City");
Demyana Bedny (from Gagarina Street to Sevastopolskaya);
Pereulok Krayny.
One of the stages of the exercise will be held on the territory of the Ice Palace on Lenina str. Gagarina, 1.
"Sounds of explosions and gunshots can be heard near the facility. There's no need to worry," warns the Interior Ministry.
A month ago, April 23-24, command-staff exercises of the Interior Ministry were held in Vitsebsk. The theme of the exercise was the organization of activities of internal affairs bodies and internal troops of the Interior Ministry "to suppress group violations of public order or mass riots, as well as extremist actions." In the photos from the exercise, one can see that the crowd, acting as protesters, had white and blue flags with them.
The exercise was personally supervised by Interior Minister of Belarus Ivan Kubrakov. He criticized the results of the first day of the exercise and said that in the near future, under the leadership of his first deputy Yuri Nazarenko, a training seminar with chiefs of public security police of the region would be held, followed by another exercise.
Similar exercises were also held earlier in Minsk and Brest.
