Sen. Graham Urged Trump To Supply Weapons To Iranians For Revolution

Iranians are capable of turning the tide in the country.

US President Donald Trump should supply weapons to the Iranians so that a revolution happens in the Islamic Republic and the regime in Tehran falls. This was stated by Fox News Senator Lindsey Graham.

"If I were President Trump and Israel, I would supply the people of Iran with weapons so they can take to the streets armed and turn the tide in the country. We don't need American ground troops as we already have millions of soldiers on the ground in Iran. However, they do not have weapons," he said.

The senator emphasized that if Iranian citizens were given weapons, they could "rise up" and overthrow the regime. According to Graham, this solution would end the war in Iran, and it would be in the spirit of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees the right of citizens to keep and bear arms.

On May 5, Trump said that Iran would have to make the "right deal" with the U.S., and otherwise the Americans would win the war "very easily." In addition, the White House chief said Tehran would need 20 years to rebuild the country if the U.S. withdrew its troops from the republic "today." On May 4, Trump promised that the Iranians would be "wiped off the face of the earth" in case of an attack on American ships escorting vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
