The Largest Military Parade In Polish History

On August 15 in Warsaw, Poland’s largest-ever military parade took place, marking Polish Armed Forces Day and the 106th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw. Nearly 2,000 military personnel and about 300 pieces of military equipment, including Abrams, K2, and Leopard tanks, as well as HIMARS and Patriot systems, marched down Vistostrada.

Military aircraft and helicopters flew over the Polish capital, including the latest F-35 Husarz fighters and Polish F-16 Jastrzębie. The parade was observed by Polish President Karol Nawrocki and representatives of the country’s top leadership. The tradition of large-scale military parades in Warsaw on Polish Armed Forces Day has existed for many years.
