Norway Has Confirmed The Threat Of New Russian Attacks In Europe

We're talking about possible acts of sabotage, drones, and other hybrid operations.

Polish warnings that Russia is likely planning to attack European countries should be taken “very seriously.” This was stated by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Støre, as quoted by TVP World.

It is known that last week, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that Russia could launch “hybrid strikes using drones and missiles” against Poland and other NATO countries supporting Ukraine in the coming weeks and months, while passing them off as accidental.

Stere emphasized that Norwegian intelligence services have confirmed the accuracy of this assessment.

“There are real threats related to hybrid activities, including potential sabotage, that may originate from Russia. I believe that Prime Minister Tusk’s warning should be taken seriously,” he noted during a press conference in Ottawa alongside Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

At the same time, the head of the Czech Internal Security Service (BIS) Michal Koudelka stated that Moscow, in addition to stepping up UAV activity, could carry out a small-scale incursion into the territory of NATO countries bordering Russia.

“This is possible. It could include a limited incursion, false-flag provocations, or a large-scale influence campaign,” he warned in an interview with The Guardian.

Likewise, the head of Latvia’s State Security Service Normunds Mežviets stated that, although Moscow is most likely preparing for an escalation of tensions in Europe, it remains unclear whether its actions will go beyond psychological operations.

“It remains an open question whether they have direct and specific plans or if this is merely part of their broader efforts to sow fear and uncertainty in Western society,” he said in an interview with The Guardian.
