"Beltelecom, What Am I Paying 50 Rubles For Every Month?"

"Beltelecom, What Am I Paying 50 Rubles For Every Month?"

Customer support has not responded to inquiries for two weeks.

Threads user vanichkayo described a problem that Beltelecom subscribers have repeatedly complained about.

“Beltelecom, is this even normal?” he writes. “I pay about 50 rubles a month for internet service that’s advertised to have speeds of up to 500 Mbit/s. In reality, the internet is so terrible that sometimes it’s easier to turn on mobile data on my phone—it works much better.

It’s impossible to watch movies, TV shows, or YouTube properly—there’s constant buffering and lag. Even regular web pages take forever to load, and downloading any file is a real ordeal.

The most interesting thing is that this problem has been going on for almost two weeks now. During that time, I’ve called support twice. Every time, the answer is the same: “The request has been logged.”

Fine, the request has been logged. But when will the internet start working properly?

Meanwhile, we continue to pay for the service on time.

Simply switching to another provider isn’t an option either—no other provider can set up service in our town.

So here’s my question for “Beltelecom”: What am I paying about 50 rubles for every month?”

Some social media users suggested connecting the modem to the TV with a cable. In response, the author of the post asked a counterquestion: “How do I connect a cable to a phone or tablet?”
