The Anapa–Minsk Train Is Following A Revised Route Via Smolensk And Orsha

Earlier, it had been moving through the Russian city of Bryansk, which was attacked last night.

Train No. 489 from Anapa to Minsk is operating on a modified schedule and route to the Belarusian capital, according to a notice from BelZhD press service.

The train departed from Anapa on September 24, 2026, at 9:32 p.m. It was scheduled to arrive in Minsk on September 26, 2026, at 5:10 p.m.

Russian Railways informed its Belarusian counterparts that the train is operating on a modified schedule and route “for technical reasons.” Previously, it traveled through Bryansk, Russia, and then through the Belarusian cities of Dobrush—Gomel—Buda-Koshelevo—Zhlobin—Bobruisk—Osipovichi—Pukhovichi—Minsk. Now, however, the train is traveling to Minsk via Smolensk and Orsha. The train will arrive in Minsk at 4:01 p.m. (instead of 5:10 p.m.).

Passengers who purchased tickets for this train to travel from Gomel to Minsk will be transported to the capital on Train No. 691 Gomel–Minsk. It will stop at the same stations as Train No. 489 Anapa–Minsk. The train departs from Gomel at 12:53.


“To ensure the transportation of passengers traveling on Train No. 489 Anapa–Minsk from stations in the Russian Federation to stations on the Gomel–Osipovichi section, Train No. 692 Minsk–Gomel will be scheduled. <�…> The train <�…> will depart from Minsk-Passenger Station at 5:06 p.m. and arrive in Gomel at 9:25 p.m.,” BelZhD reports.

Meals will be provided en route for passengers on Train No. 692 Minsk–Gomel.

As a reminder, explosions were heard last night in Bryansk, Russia.
