A Russian Jet Drone Crashed Near The Ukrainian-Polish Border

The "Yagodin" checkpoint has been damaged.

A Russian jet-powered drone was spotted near the Ukrainian-Polish border. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine was informed by sources familiar with the matter.

Initially, monitoring Telegram channels reported that a Russian drone was approaching the “Yagodin” border crossing. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force stated that the enemy drone was detected in Volyn, flying toward the border with Poland.

According to a source, the Russian drone did not strike the “Yagodin” border crossing.

For its part, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces warned that, in connection with the Russian attack on western Ukraine, Polish combat aircraft had been scrambled.

“Ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems have been placed on alert,” the Polish military specified.

An air raid siren also sounded in the Lublin Voivodeship.
