Journalist and political activist Gloria Steinem died in New York at the age of 92. She was one of the leaders of the gender equality movement in the 1960s and 1970s. Gloria Steinem was born in 1934 in the United States. In the 1960s, she became an active participant in the feminist movement, as well as the anti-war movement in connection with the Vietnam War.
