Aston Martin Has Released Its First Road Motorcycle

Each motorcycle will be assembled by hand.

British manufacturer Aston Martin has unveiled its first motorcycle that can be legally ridden on public roads. The company will produce only 300 units, according to Motor1.

The two companies had previously collaborated on the AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro track motorcycles. However, the AMB 002 Roadster is the first Aston Martin model that owners will be able to register, insure, and ride on public roads.

Each motorcycle will be hand-assembled. The first deliveries to customers are scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.

“This project is the result of a collaboration that has evolved into a strong partnership in the luxury sector,” company representatives stated.

The AMB 002 Roadster is equipped with a new 1,083-cubic-centimeter V-twin engine producing 130 horsepower. The motorcycle weighs about 190 kilograms, and the weight distribution between the front and rear axles is close to ideal—50:50.

One of the most unusual features is the ultra-lightweight titanium frame, weighing about five kilograms. The front suspension uses a double-wishbone system instead of a traditional telescopic fork.

The motorcycle’s design incorporates elements reminiscent of the Vanquish, Valkyrie, and Valhalla models. The authors of the article believe that the limited production run and the connection to the legendary British brand virtually guarantee significant interest from collectors.

“The first units are sure to become highly sought after among owners of rare vehicles,” the authors say.
