Belarusian Military Glory Day in Warsaw (Photo)

On Sunday Belarusians celebrated the Belarusian Military Glory Day in the capital of Poland with a march.

About 30 persons, mostly students studying under Kalinouski program, marched from General de Gaulle Square to the building where a memorial plate to General Bulak-Bulakhovich is situated. Participants of the march were carrying a white-red-white flag.

“No matter where Belarusians live, in Motherland or in emigration, they should always celebrate the Belarusian Military Glory Day worthily,” one of the participants of the rally said to Radio Svaboda.

Another participant underlined that “unfortunately, this day cannot be celebrated in Belarus properly, as activists would be detained again”.

The march was held by the organisation “Belarusian national memory”.
