Polish bikers in Kurapaty (Photo)

127 Polish motorcyclists visited Kurapaty within the frameworks of the “Katyn way” race.

The race is taking place on the territories of Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine and Russia.

Together with bikers and representatives of Polish Embassy in Misk Kurapaty was visited by Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Uladzimir Varanetsky, “Radio Svaboda” reports.

On the territory of historical and cultural value of international importance “Place of execution of victims of political repressions of the years 1930—1940 in a wooded area of Kurapaty”, included into a State Register of historical and cultural values of the Republic of Belarus and is situated in the north-eastern outskirt of Minsk, repose, according to different estimations, from 30 to 200 thousand victims of Stalinism.
