Access to charter97.org blocked in Belarus

On October 8th access to independent internet sites was blocked because of the National Assembly which was due to take place on this day.

Internet pages of charter97.org, the official website of the National Assembly, “Radio Freedom”, “Belarusky Partizan” and social network “Vkontakte” were blocked or access to them was limited since morning.

The government traditionally blocks independent websites during protest actions of the opposition.
