One more police general sacked

Police Major General Alyaksandr Naidzenka has been released from the post of the chief of the police department at the Vitebsk region executive committee.

Naidzenka has been transfered to reserves  of the Armed Forces due to age with the right to wear uniform and insignia. The appropriate decree was signed by Lukashenka on May 29.

Before appointment to Vitebsk, Naidzenka was the deputy head of the Minsk city police department – police chief responsible for public security and order. He personally commanded police to disperse opposition demonstrations.
