Witness at trial: Investigators demanded to tell that Varlamau drank

Another employee of “Sasha Varlamau’s fashion agency” claimed about the pressure on the part of the investigation in court.

Vadzim Kastsenka has been working for the agency since 2007 as a specialist in management, he got hired right after finishing school, Euroradio reports.

At the trial he testified as a victim and stated that Aliaksandr Varlamau asked him to hide it from designers that they were paid per diems.

But after several questions Kastsenka suddenly confessed that there was pressure on him during the investigation and he was asked to tell that Varlamau drank a lot.

“During the investigation they asked about alcohol drinks and let know that there would be problems if I did not answer as expected. The investigators told: it is necessary to write that Varlamau abused alcohol. I refused and it was only removed from the protocol in 30-40 minutes”, - Vadzim Kastsenka says. During the investigation the guy was interrogated around 20 times.

Vadzim Kastsenka was questioned for a whole day in court, others did not manage to make their speeches.

When it came to Varlamau’s questions he suddenly told his former employee: “After school you simply did a courier job”.

We would remind that the designer is being accused of violating five articles of the Criminal Code. The trial has been lasting for more than a month already.
