– It was an accidental meeting. I asked the investigator for a meeting with that guy’s father, - Aliaksandr tells. – He was in the neighbouring office, giving evidence. Children need to be taken care of, parents should be like brood-hens, protecting and caring for them. And his parents failed in that. My Alena always protected our daughter and worried about her. If our daughter was late for an hour, she would always call her, asking things like where she was, when she would come home… She was with our daughter everywhere and always. We remind, a 17-year-old criminal entered the Europe shopping center at about 5.30 p.m. on October 8. He took a chainsaw out of the guitar case and killed a 43-year-old woman. The assailant also had an axe in the case, with which he injured another two middle-aged women. Kazakevich walked around the shopping center wearing a ski mask and sound-muting headphones, and attacked women. He was immobilized by the mall’s sellers and customers. The police arrived to the tragedy site in several minutes. According to the information provided by the law-enforcement agencies, the detainee said he wanted to “chop the people”.
