White-Red-White Flag Hoisted In Brest At City Entrance

This way the activists of European Belarus have congratulated residents of Brest on "Dzen Voli" (Freedom Day).

The day before March 25, white-red-white flags were hoisted on the main street leading to the city entrance, organizers of the action reported to charter97.org.

It is to be recalled that the Minsk City Executive Committee gave its permission to hold a meeting of the rally participants near the Oktyabr cinema in Minsk at 18.00 on Freedom Day. Mikalai Statkevich and several other opposition leaders urged the participants of the rally to come to the Yanka Kupala monument at 17.00 the day before.
