Belarusians Make Preparations For 100th Anniversary Of BPR

The anniversary of the declaration of our country's independence must become a demonstration of Belarusians’ unity and determination.

A regular meeting of the Belarusian National Congress (BNC) took place in Minsk. One of the main issues of the BNC meeting was the preparation for celebrating the 100th anniversary of the declaration of the Belarusian People's Republic.

Yauhen Afnahel, one of the BNC leaders, reported that on his Facebook page.

BNC members confirmed their intention to hold a rally dedicated to Freedom Day in the center of the capital. It will start at Yakub Kolas Square on March 25, 2018.

The BNC believes that the anniversary of the declaration of our country's independence must become a demonstration of the unity and determination of all the patriots of Belarus. Therefore, the BNC members decided to appeal to activists and leaders of parties and organizations with an invitation to join the Freedom Day organizing committee.

BNC leaders Uladzimir Niakliayeu, Henadz Fiadynich and Vatslau Areshka were instructed to hold talks with representatives of political parties and public organizations on joint celebration of the great holiday of the Belarusian people.

The BNC meeting considered some other issues, including the issue of street rallies, which are to be continued and expanded.
