Administration Of Notorious Poultry Plant ‘Khalch’ Gets Nervous About REP Trade Union

The administration of the enterprise got worried because of the membership of their employees in the trade union.

Leanid Sudalenka, the legal inspector of the REP in the Homel region, has told praca-by.info, that, according to the employees of the “Khalch” poultry factory, the administration is worried because the ladies joined the independent trade union:

– Their lawyer was outraged, he shouted at the girls and tried to intimidate them. “You joined the wrong company!” But the girls have nothing to be scared of – they are under the protection of our trade union. As for the lawyer, I would like to look him in the eyes and give him a useful advice to start studying the Tariff Agreement of the trade union of the agricultural-inductrial complex for 2016-2018.

One of the employees of the “Khalch” poultry factory Hanna Matveyenka told Leanid Sudalenka that she got a phone call from Chairman of the Vetka district executive committee Aleh Arkhipenka. He invited her for a conversation. The meeting with the official was scheduled for today, December 8.

The trade union lawyer is convinced that the court will decide in favour of the employees of the poultry factory.

– I checked with the tariff agreement of the trade union of the agricultural production, and it says that an employer has no right to terminate relations with the employees who did not have any violations of the labor discipline within a year. And the women who joined the REP worked without any penalty: they have no right to fire them.
