83-Year-Old Homel Dweller: I Oppose This Bald Bandit Everywhere

The pensioner said that the ruler had betrayed the people's trust.

The 83-year-old Homel dweller Maria Venediktovna, a participant of the action against the decree on social parasitism, told why she had decided to take part in the protest.

– I campaigned for this bandit (Aliaksandr Lukashenka - note) in four districts of the region with my sister and brother, a war veteran who fought at Kursk. He (Lukashenka – note) betrayed our trust. I didn't go to vote for him second time and I have been opposing this bald bandit since then everywhere.

I have only one son. I was born in the countryside, during the war. My mother gave birth to my brother. I raised him, as our mother was working in the field, leaving us alone. I am a child of war. I was in burning houses, and they loaded me in train carriage. I want to address the people to make them hear me, – Maria Venediktovna said, heading towards a microphone to speak in front of the people.
