The Minsk city executive committee is going to verify the facts of violations during the construction of the office building near the tract.

Young Front activists, who were forcibly removed from the construction site near the memorial complex "Kurapaty" by the builders yesterday, put a tent next to the building and lit a fire in a barrel. They stayed there for the night.

When journalists arrived at the site, the construction was actually stopped, the activists told Radio Svaboda. They didn’t let a car with building materials to the site. The builders were trying to unload materials by hand, but then they gave up.

Activists argue that if there are no reporters at the site, they are attacked by the builders and are forcibly made to hold back.

The meeting of local residents to protesting against the construction is scheduled for February 23, 18:00.

The Minsk city executive committee is going to verify the facts of violations during the construction of the office building near Kurapaty, Euroradio reports.
