REP Trade Union Defends Brigade Of Slonim Builders

The brigade of builders is trying to surcharge their salary from the LLC StilStandartStroy.

The brigade of Slonim builders worked under a contract agreement with the LLC StilStandartStroy on the construction of a tourist complex in Asipovichy district, praca-by.info writes.

The construction was completed in mid-August, 2018, the object was put into operation. The employer has not yet paid off the workers’ salary for July-August 2018: director Aliaksandr Barycheuski promises to pay, but at that he does not give the money to the workers. According to the verbal agreement with the company director, the salary is paid monthly, from the 15th to the 25th.

The LLC StilStandartStroy owes to each of 14 workers approximately 3.5 thousand rubles. The people have been waiting the salaries for more than a month, although the customer of the object, Gazprom transgaz Belarus, has paid off its debt.

REP Trade Union lawyer Yury Beliakou helped to prepare complaints against the company's management. The whole brigade joined the REP Trade Union.

The situation, according to the lawyer, is very similar to the story of the brigade of roofers who are still trying to recover their earned money from the OJSC Belstroymantazh, against which the bankruptcy procedure has been initiated.

– We hope that in this case, the situation will not happen again, and the people will receive payment in the very near future. Barycheuski was given a week to pay off the workers. Otherwise, he will have to pay the full amount plus the interest for each day of delay. The meter is running, – Yury Beliakou says.
