Ordinary People - Main Characters of Fight with Decree on "Parasitism"

A photo album dedicated to mass protests of 2017 was published.

On March 21 human rights activists of Viasna presented a photo album devoted to mass protests of 2017, palitviazni.info informs.

The photo book tells about sound events that took place in the social and political life last spring.

"It was not the first time when spring was "hot", the major democratic events occur at this time of the year, Alena Laptsyenak, editor of the book, told. - Last year the decree on "parasitism" became the reason for mass protests throughout the country. Ordinary people are our main characters.

About 200 original photos and photos from open sources became the part of the edition. The photo album is published in two languages: in Belarusian and in English.

"Key moments are reflected in this album. I hope this book will not be boring," Chairman of the HRC Viasna Ales Byalyatski said during the presentation.
