Leader fo the Belarusian National Congress Mikalai Statkevich was detained in Minsk on March 25, claims the politician's neighbour on the Telegram-channel "Parasites of Belarus". The phones of Mikalai Statkevich and his wife Maryna Adamovich are unavailable, Radio Liberty reports.

Important to note, the Lukashenka regime held preventive arrests of the participants of the celebration of the BPR's 100th anniversary.

On March 23 of this year, the Maskouski district court of Minsk sentenced coordinator of the European Belarus Yauhen Afnahel to 10 days of an administrative detention.

On March 21, the members of the organizing committee of the action Uladzimir Niakliaeu, Viachaslau Siuchyk and Maxim Viniarski were also detained. Maxim Viniarski was sentenced on March 21 for 10 days of detention for the solidarity action with the website Charter97.org, blocked in Belarus.

Poet and civil activist Slavamir Adamovich was detained in Maryina Horka today. Journalist Volha Chaichyts was also detained on her way to Minsk.
