Belsat journalists Katsiaryna Andreyava and Siarhei Kavaliou have been detained in Minsk. The journalists were supposed to cover the March at Yakub Kolas Square.

The journalists were detained by employees in civilian clothes.

On March 23, the Maskouski district court of Minsk sentenced European Belarus coordinator Yauhen Afnahel to 10 days' imprisonment.

On March 21, organizing committee members Uladzimir Niakliayeu, Viachaslau Siuchyk and Maksim Viniarski were also detained. On March 21, Maksim Viniarski was sentenced to 10 days of arrest for an action of solidarity with Charter-97 blocked in Belarus.

Uladzimir Niakliayeu sentenced to 10 days of arrest, he will be released only on March 31. Siuchyk is also at the detention center in Akrestsin Street. European Belarus activist Leanid Kulakou was sentenced to 10 days for holding a picket in support of Charter-97 on March 13.

This morning, poet and public activist Slavamir Adamovich was detained in Marjina Horka. Journalist Volha Chaichyts was also detained on her way to Minsk.
