This decision was taken after the blogger took the bluff out of the court.

In the settlement of Aktsiabrski, Homel region, the judge applied for own recusal during the trial of blogger Andrei Pauk! This was the way Uladzimir Vasileuski reacted to the leak to the Internet of the document, which the assistant to the public prosecutor left yesterday during the break in the trial. Human rights activist Leanid Sudalenka posted a photocopy of the judge's decision on self-recusal on his Facebook page, Euroradio reports.

According to Euroradio, blogger Andrei Pauk is trying to secure the right to attend the planned meetings of the Aktsiabrski district executive committee and the sessions of the district council, through the court. Yesterday, he posted on his Facebook page a photocopy of the document that the prosecutor's assistant had imprudently left. Pauk considered that this was actually an already taken decision, according to which the complaint would not be satisfied. The photocopy leaked to the media.

Judge Uladzimir Vasileuski writes: "As this publication may raise doubts in the impartiality of the judge with an outside observer ... the judge applies to no longer participate in the consideration of the case."

For today's Belarus, such recusal is an exceptional phenomenon. It is known that Vasileuski was appointed to the post of the judge of the Aktsiabrski district court by the decree of Lukashenka in February 2015, for five years.

Later it became known that Pauk received a judicial summons over the fact of violation of the media legislation.
