The head of the “Health Recipe” has gone on a “business trip”.

Another head of the network of pharmacies has been caught by the law-enfrocers’ spotlight. This is director of the “Tishas” company Siarhei Shabeta. However, they say in the company that the boss is “on a business trip”.

“He was detained long ago, when there were mass arrests. He is incriminated with bribery, like the others,” three sources in the pharmaceutical businesss told TUT.by.

The little known company “Tishas” has been on the market since 1994. It is engaged in wholesale and retail trade in medicines, and is more widely known exactly as a wholesaler. The company is developing a network of its own pharmacies “Health Recipe” in Vitsebsk, Pinsk, Polatsk, Slutsk. Their total number is about 10. “Our goal is to open a network of pharmacies throughout the Republic of Belarus,” the company's presentation said.

“The usual average Belarusian pharmaceutical company. What does usual mean? It has its own pharmacy and its distribution. The majority works according to this model,” the market participant said.

The company “Tishas” did not confirm the detention of Siarhei Shabeta. However, he was unavailable and we could not talk to him. “He's on a business trip. He will return soon,” assured director of “Tishas” Sviatlana Shabeta. She did not answer the question when Shabeta “went on a business trip.”

The press-center of the KGB gave no comment.

On September 11, Lukashenka told about the scale of corruption in health care. A total of 95 criminal cases have been opened, where dozens of millions of dollars of criminal funds appeared. As a result of the work, nearly 100 people were brought under investigation. It remains unknown who exactly fell under the investigation.
