The computer hard drive and laptop were seized.

On the morning of October 10, a search was carried out in the house of anarchist Siarhei Sazanovich, who is registered in Stolin. The law-enforcers seized the computer hard drive, and laptop belonging to the anarchist, as well as other devices, writes svaboda.org.

Siarhei Sazanovich was not at home. Minsk anarchists connect the persecution of their ally with the action of solidarity with Dzmitry Paliyenka, which took place on March 25, as well as with the picket near the Marriott Hotel on October 7.

Siarhei's mother Ina Sazanovich told about the morning visit of the investigators:

“They called themselves investigators, showed a search warrant that they were investigating the case of damage to property of the Minsk City Court. I remembered the time when this happened, according to that paper - September 24 at 23:53. Also there was the surname of my son’s friend Siarhei Niaudokh, but I don’t know whether they searched his house, too. They took what they needed and left. They behaved politely,” said Ina Sazanovich.

Spokesperson for the Interior Ministry Volha Chamadanava confirmed that a check is being carried out with regard to the damage to the property of the Minsk City Court, in the framework of which “necessary actions are being taken”.

According to the mother of the anarchist Siarhei Sazanovich, her son denies any involvement in the case of damage to the property of the court. Minsk activist of the anarchist movement Viachaslau Kasinerau, who keeps in touch with Siarhei Sazanovich and Siarhei Niaudokh, also says that they have nothing to do with pouring paint onto the building of the city court.

“Another group of anarchists took responsibility for the paint, Sazanovich and Niaudokh have nothing to do with this. Yes, they took part in a picket of solidarity with Paliyenka, Siarhei Sazanovich even sang and played the guitar, but neither he nor Niaudokh commited the actions qualified as crime. Siarhei Sazanovich was also among our activists at the Marriott Hotel three days ago. Naturally, in such a way the authorities revenge on the guys for their activity,” said Vyacheslav Kosinerov.

On September 25, the Minsk City Court was due to begin the trial regarding activist of the anarchist movement Dzmitry Paliyenka, who is accused of malicious hooliganism and insulting police officers. That morning, a collection of signatures for nomination of candidates for deputies was being carried out near the court building, during which the anarchists and activists of other organizations demanded to stop the persecution of Dzmitry Paliyenka. The trial of the activist never started - they said that the judge allegedly fell ill. Before the action, it became known that on the eve someone threw a glass of red paint into the court wall. No one was detained during the action near the court.

On October 7, 5 anarchists wearing the Joker makeup joined the collection of signatures carried out by the activists of the European Belarus civil campaign near the Marriott Hotel, where the international conference on security issues in Europe began. The picketers protested against the dictatorship in Belarus and the construction of the Astravets NPP, and also reminded of political prisoners. Then, none of the participants in the collection of signatures for the nomination of the candidates for “deputies” of the “House of Representatives” were detained either.
