Uladzimir Niakliayeu: Signing Some Molotov-Ribbentrop Pacts Is Biggest Crime

The poet and politician reminded of the history lessons at the Independence rally.

On December 7, a rally to defend the independence and sovereignty of Belarus took place in Kalinouski Square (Kastrychnitskaya Square) in Minsk. Several thousand people gathered at the square. The organizers of the rally for independence urged Minsk citizens to come to Kastrychnitskaya Square.

People's poet of Belarus, one of the BNC leaders Uladzimir Niakliayeu, stated that one cannot trade the country without the people's knowledge.

"The biggest crime is to sign some Molotov-Ribbentrop pacts to tear our country apart again. Nobody says we shouldn't cooperate with our neighbors (Russians, Poles, Lithuanians, Ukrainians), but we're not a vassal country and won't go to anybody's service," - Niakliayeu stated.
