Basta: What Causes Sad Faces At Council Of Ministers' Meetings?

Officials lack ideas.

Have you noticed what tired and anxious faces Belarusian ministers and officials recently have? The dictator is at least retouched in the official media, and there is not enough time and working hands for his entourage, the Telegram channel Basta writes.

What is the reason for the bags under the eyes and sad eyes at the meetings of the Council of Ministers?

The authorities are desperately looking for money to last at least until the next election. It is already clear that they should stop hoping for Russian loans. The West also is not going to give them anything. So, officials have the task of getting as much money as possible from the Belarusians themselves, but there are not many ideas here.

Entrepreneurs are again required to install cash registers. Corresponding letters are massively sent out by the tax authorities. Installation and maintenance of the machines will cost about $100 a month.

It has not been possible to make a normal profit by raising the retirement age. It turned out that not so many Belarusians live up to it, so the income was less than expected. The Ministry of Labor and Social Security is talking about a new reform.

One-third of car owners don't pass checkups. The relevant authorities have been trying to figure out what to do with these inspections for a long time, and it seems that they have invented something. A car owner from Mosty got a " directive" from the traffic police demanding that he should undergo a technical check-up. For failure to do so, he will face an additional fine.

The "Raukou's Law" was adopted. Soldiers are free, rightsless and obedient slave force. They can be used in construction, harvesting, and preparation of new shows to calm the dictator's nerves. A database of slave volunteers is being created.

What else can they think of?

Officials are spinning like they are stung to find a new way to empty our pockets. The motivation is simple and clear: if you fail, you will go to jail as a corrupt man. Examples - every day in the news feeds. Who is next? The family will still get the money, at least as a payback. They live according to the principle of "to stand for a night, to hold out for a day". Stress, sleepless nights, nightmares, nervous breakdowns on subordinates. There is enough intelligence to understand that the task is impossible. There is no courage to say about it.
