Slovakia Will Recall Ambassador From Belarus In Solidarity With Lithuania And Poland

This was stated by the head of the Slovak Foreign Ministry at a meeting with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya held a meeting with Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok and representatives of the Belarusian diaspora. This was reported by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Telegram-channel.

The meeting of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and the head of the Slovakian Foreign Ministry was preceded by communication with public figures, representatives of expert centers and mass media, where possible ways of overcoming the crisis in Belarus and supporting the Belarusian people were discussed.

After that, the Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok met with Tsikhanouskaya. In the course of the dialogue, the parties decided to extend the scholarship program for students from Belarus funded by the Slovak authorities, and also discussed support for Belarusian expert and analytical centers. Korcok announced the withdrawal of the Slovak ambassador from Minsk as part of joint actions with the Polish and Lithuanian sides, which have already taken such a step.
