The restrictions have been imposed for three months.

Last night, Polish President Andrzej Duda signed amendments to the law on the protection of the eastern border.

Three regulations were signed. The main one is to introduce a temporary ban on the stay of unauthorized persons in certain areas in the frontier zone, says Polish Minister of the Interior Mariusz Kamiński. The ban is introduced for three months.

The ban covers 183 settlements on the border with Belarus at a distance of about 3 km from it. The ban will be in effect from December 1 until March 1, 2022.

The ban does not apply to residents of the specified territories, as well as those who work in the area, deal with administrative issues or participate in the services, ambulance crews and other emergency services, officers and soldiers on duty.

According to regulations published on the website of the Polish law collection, any kind of weapon is also forbidden in the area.

A separate document expands the list of special means used by the Polish Border Guard: stun guns, CS grenades and other means of disabling substances are added to the list.

For a specified period and under certain conditions, the commander of the Border Guard will authorize other people, in particular journalists, to stay in the specified territory.

It is noteworthy that on November 8, Lukashenka's regime arranged a large-scale provocation on the Polish border. Thousands of migrants, controlled by the Belarusian special services, assaulted the border of Poland. The Polish side reports up to 10 thousand illegal immigrants may take part in the other border assaults.

On November 15, the Belarusian military escorted illegals from their camp on the border with Poland to the checkpoint Bruzgi-Kuznica.

On November 16, the migrants assaulted the Polish border.

After that, the migrants were placed in the Bruzgi logistics center on the border. Polish intelligence reports the Belarusian security forces turned the Bruzgi center into a base for attacks of migrants on Poland.

On November 26, Lukashenka visited the migrants' camp to encourage them to take a new assault on the Polish border.
