Lithuanian Border Guards Did Not Let 14 Illegal Immigrants From Territory Of Belarus Into Country

Lithuanian border guards did not let 14 migrants into the country on Tuesday. All of them were returned to Belarus. Yesterday, Lithuania didn't accept migrants for humanitarian reasons, BNS reports with reference to the state border service.

Since the beginning of August more than 8 thousand migrants, who tried to cross the border bypassing the checkpoints, have been denied entry to the territory of Lithuania. Prior to this, the country received more than 4.2 thousand people.
