Ukrainian Army Attacks Unit Of Kadyrovtsy With German SPG Near Bakhmut

The Ukrainian fighters "made mincemeat out of" the Russian troops at the barrier line with a precise strike.

The situation outside Bakhmut, Donetsk Region, remains difficult but controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian defenders have destroyed the occupation army's second line, which was made up of so-called "Kadyrov units".

This was reported by the AFU's Strategic Communications Centre (StratCom) on October 27, citing military blogger Igor Washington.

"The AFU have given the occupants a good fight near Bakhmut. The AFU pulled up Panzerhaubitze and shelled the occupiers' second line. This is the line of the barrier squad consisting of Kadyrovtsy, who were driving the "cons" to slaughter. That line no longer exists. All the tik-tokers don-doners have been turned into mincemeat," the report says.

The Ukrainian soldiers used in the battle the Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000), a 155mm SAU developed by Germany's Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, which has a 52 gauge (8m) barrel, an automatic charging system with ammunition. as well as a modern, accurate ground navigation system.

On June 21, 2022 it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had received their first PzH 2000s with trained Ukrainian crews.

We would like to point out that fierce battles continue in the Bakhmut direction. The AFU General Staff informed that during the day the enemy shelled the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Mayorsk, New York, Yakivlivka, Zelenopole and Ozaryanivka with tanks and rocket artillery. And the Defence Forces repelled attacks by the occupants in the vicinity of Bakhmut, Ivangrad, Soledar, Majorsk, Krasnohorivka and Marinka settlements in Donetsk Region.

However, the situation is under control, with Ukrainian fighters continuing to hold positions in Bakhmut. This is evidenced by a video shot by an AFU soldier and made public by Yuriy Mysyagin, an MP and deputy of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense.

"The operational situation is unchanged. Our glorious Cossacks continue to hold their positions. Bakhmut is Ukraine. Bakhmut is holding on," the fighter noted.
