'Noah's Ark' Operation: Putin, His Cronies To Be Evacuated To Venezuela

The Kremlin has a plan ready in case of defeat in the war in Ukraine.

Russia's top leadership has long been developing a plan to escape international justice and responsibility for the full-scale war against Ukraine - to Latin America, specifically, to Venezuela. Russian political analyst Abbas Galliamov told Channel 24 about this.

According to Galliamov, who used to work in Putin's team and write speeches for him, the project of evacuation called "Noah's Ark" started back in spring, in March or April, when it became clear that the blitzkrieg plan in the war against Kyiv had finally failed. At that moment the Putin top officials realized that the whole situation could end in collapse and began to work out an option in case of a retreat.

"No one thought that Ukraine would retaliate with such powerful blows, that the Russian army would prove to be ineffective and that the West, or almost the whole world, would become much more consolidated than it had been expected," Galliamov said.

The Venezuela option has allegedly been suggested by Igor Sechin, head of the Rosneft corporation, one of the people closest to Putin over the past 25 years. Indeed, Putin's regime enjoys good relations with Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro.

So as early as June, Sechin's deputy Yuri Kurilin, Rosneft's vice-president with an American passport, went to the United States - to prepare 'Noah's Ark'.
