Authorities Unexpectedly Begin Repair Of Strategic Road Near Ukrainian Boundary

The two-lane asphalt road that will be repaired runs from the village of Babchyn near the entrance to the exclusion zone to the resettled village of Krasnaselle near the Pripyat River, 8 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

The road rehabilitation will cover 4115 square meters of the road surface. It will cost approximately 118,843 rubles, the funds will be taken from the republican budget. It is necessary to complete the road rehabilitation in a short term - the road should be ready by July 1, 2022. Palessia State Radioecological Reserve is an order giver.
