Boryslav Bereza: Best Option For Arestovych Is To Keep Silence And Not To Say Nonsense
BORYSLAV BEREZA

Any interaction with scumbags makes you a scumbag too.

Boryslav Bereza, co-founder and former head of information section of the Right Sector party, former Verkhovna Rada deputy and member of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE, political activist and AFU fighter, commented on the statement of advisor to the Ukrainian President's Office Oleksiy Arestovych that Ukraine is pursuing a Realpolitik policy in relation to the regime in Belarus.

- I believe that the best option for Arestovych is to keep quiet and not to say anything stupid, even if he is a talking head of the Presidential Office [of Ukraine]. Supporting such typecast: Lukashenka, Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein, Putin, Kim Jong-il, Hitler, Mussolini is support for the destruction of peoples and support for bloody regimes. So any interaction with scumbags makes you a scumbag too. And when Arestovych says such things, he shows his low moral level and that money is above honour for him. Because if we (Ukrainians - note) cared about "money", if we cared about the economic component, we would have surrendered to Russia long ago. But we are not surrendering. And so it is here: it means that we will do everything, but we will not buy anything from Lukashenka's regime. Neither electricity, which used to be bought by the people close to the power, nor bitumen, which was bought by the people close to the power, nor diesel fuel, which was bought by the people close to the power. Ukraine has little interest in the money of those close to power. These people must leave power, just as Lukashenka must leave. We must build friendly relations with the Belarusian people. We need to offer a hand of friendship to each other, but without the scum in the power, who measure everything by the account, money or personal interest,' said Baryslav Bereza in the interview to Euroradio.
