Minsk Faces Huge Shortage Of Elementary School Teachers And Kindergarten Teachers

The authorities can no longer hide the problem.

Chairman of Minsk city executive committee Uladzimir Kukharau acknowledged the problem of shortage of primary school teachers and kindergarten teachers on air of Belarus 1, reports zerkalo.io.

- Today there is a huge problem in Minsk in terms of professionals, - stated Uladzimir Kukharau. - First of all it is pre-school institutions (over 450 vacancies), as well as more than 50 vacancies for primary school teachers.

We remind that there is a deficit not only of teachers but also of medical workers in Minsk, for instance, at the beginning of April, there was a shortage of 1,047 nurses in the capital.
