Belarusians Queuing For 20 Hours To Drive Into Poland

A huge number of cars have accumulated even in the toll direction.

If at the border towards Lithuania there are problems with the exit to the EU, the trouble with the waiting is not better in the Polish direction. This is reported by the drivers, who continue to queue at the Warsaw Bridge checkpoint. According to them, the waiting time is already approaching 24 hours. And there is no acceleration of traffic, reports Onliner.by.

"Yesterday we had to wait in a toll queue until 8:21 p.m., they let us in at 00:00," people in the queue wrote. "There were a lot of cars even in the tollway".

Here is another similar message: "At 05:30 via the 'toll' and only near the entrance to the barrier. The Poles have only two channels working".

The journalists called Pavel - one of those stuck in there.

"We arrived at "Varshavka" yesterday at about 14:40," the man said. "We arrived a little in advance, because it was a long weekend in Poland. The e-queue was sold out. We had to wait till 01:30 a. m., just to check in. The paid queue was waiting from yesterday's 4pm to 10am today. People went to the border guards, asking what was wrong. They claimed the system on our side was broken. Then it seemed to start working, but still there were 2-3 cars per hour".

The queue for registration. The one on the left is free, the one on the right is toll.

"Well, after registration, which we went through at 01:30 a.m., 15-20 cars drove through," the interlocutor added. "That is 5-6 cars per hour. The situation is similar in the toll queue. The place is packed up. People write different versions in the chats: first Poles, then Belarusians are to blame. But the fact is that crossing the border may take the whole day".
