Zelensky: 12 Countries Are Already In Ukraine's Tank Coalition

The President of Ukraine has recorded a video address.

The coalition of countries that have decided to provide Ukraine with Western-style main battle tanks is expanding.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an address published on January 26.

Zelensky said that Russian aggression can only be stopped with adequate weapons and every missile and drone fired by the Russian Federation at Ukrainian cities is an argument as to why Ukraine needs more weapons.

"Only weapons disarm terrorists. And I am grateful to everyone in the world who is really countering terror with us. Who are speeding up the delivery of the necessary defence equipment to Ukraine and who are willing to increase the sanctions pressure on the terrorist state. In particular, we are expanding our tank coalition - there is a corresponding Canadian decision, thanks for that. Already 12 countries are in our tank coalition," he added.

Today Canada has announced that it will transfer four Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
