'Lukashenka Will Be Begging Forgiveness On His Knees'

Belarusian political analyst Dzmitry Balkunets believes that the West's ultimatum and cutting off the transit of Chinese goods through Belarus will bring Lukashenka to his knees.

Earlier, Dzmitry Balkunets wrote that in the light of recent events "there are no and can be no negotiations with Lukashenka."

"This man is not capable of negotiation. One can only talk to him in the language of ultimatums. I told this both in autumn 2020 and in 2021 publicly and during numerous meetings with diplomats. I have repeatedly said that roadblocks and similar methods are the only way to achieve results.

Most sensible people support the need for an ultimatum. Only an ultimatum! Let's bring Lukashenka to his knees!" considers the political scientist.

In an interview with Charter97.org Dzmitry Balkunets said that a collective ultimatum from the EU and the United States would force Lukashenka to release all political prisoners, as a minimum. We are talking about blocking all the railway points on the border between the EU and Belarus and stopping the transit of Chinese goods through the territory of our country.
