KGB Adds Former Investigator Yushkevich And Three More People To The List Of 'Terrorists'

The list now includes 1,041 people.

The State Security Committee updated the list of persons involved in "terrorist activities". It includes four more people, including ex-investigator Yevgeny Yushkevich.

The list, dated March 27, 2023, added:

Alexander Gridyushko, a 57-year-old resident of Minsk. Human rights activists point out that in late December 2022, he was sentenced to four years' imprisonment under Article 369 (Insulting a representative of the authorities), Article 295 (Illegal actions with firearms, ammunition and explosives), Article 368 (Insut to Lukashenka) and Article 130 (Inciting hatred or discord) of the Criminal Code of Belarus. He was declared a political prisoner;

33-year-old Minsk resident Evgeny Yushkevich. The former investigator was sentenced to 11 years' imprisonment under Article 342 (organization of group actions that violate public order), Article 293 (organization of mass riots accompanied with violence against persons, pogroms, arson and destruction of property) and Article 130 (incitement of enmity or discord) of the Criminal Code of Belarus. He was declared a political prisoner;

Andrei Volosach, a 53-year-old citizen of Minsk. In December, he was sentenced to six years in prison under Article 368 (Insult to Lukashenka), Article 369 (Insult to a representative of the authorities"), Article 361-1 (establishment of an extremist formation or participation in it), Article 130 (Incitement of enmity or discord), Article 391 (Insulting a judge or a lay judge) of the Criminal Code of Belarus. He was declared a political prisoner;

Sergey Ulasovets, 38, a resident of the Minsk region. The KGB list says he is charged under Article 289 (Act of terrorism) and Article 309 (Intentional disrepair of a vehicle or means of communication) of the Criminal Code of Belarus.

Now the list of "terrorists" includes 1,041 people.
