AFU Paratroopers Liquidate Russian Attack Group In Luhansk Region

The enemy vanguard was met with fire.

A night raid by Russians on Ukrainian positions in Luhansk Region has failed. Paratroopers of the Sicheslav Brigade discovered the enemy vanguard near the village of Chervonopopivka and covered it with fire. At the same time, the situation in this direction remains difficult: the enemy actively engages attack units.

A vivid video of the "night safari" by fighters of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade of the AFU Airborne Assault Troops was released on the official telegram channel of the Airborne Assault Troops on May 23.

"The Russian invaders tried to approach Ukrainian positions at night, but the paratroopers of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade of the Ukrainian SSV Army timely detected and "demilitarized" the Russian occupiers. The final result is only one: the aggressor remains on Ukrainian soil forever!" the message reads.

Volunteers of the OSINT community Cyber Boroshno geolocated the site of the attack: the Russians were trying to advance from the temporarily occupied village of Chervonopopivka, Severodonetsk District, Luhansk Region - about 12 km from Kreminna and 5 km from the current front line.
