Ticket sales for the ice show of figure skater Tatyana Navka have been stopped.

The sale of tickets for the ice show of figure skater Tatyana Navka, the wife of the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, entitled “The Love Story of Scheherazade,” has been stopped in Kazakhstan. The event was supposed to take place on December 23 at the Almaty Arena ice palace.

Almaty City Hall confirmed to RIA Novosti that ticket sales for the show have been stopped. City authorities noted that the decision was made at the request of the organizers themselves and the municipality does not interfere in the issue of holding concerts.

In Kazakhstan, performances by Russian artists who expressed support for the invasion of Ukraine have already been canceled, Dozhd notes. The day before, on September 14, the organizers canceled the planned October concerts of the KVN team “Kamyzyaki” in Almaty and Astana. “Due to the resonant negative public feedback on the sensational public actions of the artists of the “Kamyzyaki” team, the organizers decided to cancel the entire tour of Kazakhstan,” wrote concert organizer Olga Lee.

A week ago, two artists of the team, comedians Azamat Musagaliev and Denis Dorokhov, played a concert at the Saur-Mogila memorial in the Russian-occupied part of the Donetsk region. Two days later, a petition was created in Kazakhstan demanding the cancellation of the “Kamyzyaki” team’s concerts in the country.

“Azamat Musagaliev, together with comedian Nurlan Saburov, in addition to ridiculing the Kazakh language on the federal channel TNT, which caused indignation among the Kazakhs, together with Denis Dorokhov and his team “Kamyzyaki” recently performed in occupied Donetsk,” says the text of the petition, which was signed by almost 19,000 people.

In June, a concert of Grigory Leps was cancelled in Kazakhstan after his performance at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, where the singer had promised to pay a million rubles for each damaged Ukrainian Abrams and Leopard tank. In addition, performances of Larisa Dolina and Polina Gagarina, as well as a performance with the participation of actor Sergei Glushko, were cancelled.
