Two Belarusians With Suspicious Cargo Detained On Austria-Switzerland Border

A Belarusian is suspected of stealing perfume and razor blades worth more than 11 thousand euros, writes the publication “Belarusians and the World” with reference to the police of the federal state of Vorarlberg.

A car with Belarusians was stopped on the evening of January 11 at the Möder border crossing between Austria and Switzerland. In the trunk of the car they found several boxes of perfumes and razor blades worth more than 11 thousand euros.

Upon further investigation, strong suspicions arose that at least one of the two men was involved in numerous shoplifting incidents in Austria. He was taken to Feldkirch County Prison on January 12.

An investigation is underway to determine the origin of the seized goods.
