Many Residents Of Russian Kursk Region Want To Move To Ukraine

According to the representative of the Ukrainian military commandant's office in Kursk region, Oleksiy Dmitrashkovsky, residents of Kursk region of the Russian Federation have become disillusioned with their own government and want to move to Ukraine. He shared the details on air at Apostrophe TV.

"Quite a large number of people are already saying out loud that they want to leave for Ukraine, that they do not trust their government," he noted.

Dmitrashkovsky explains that residents of Kursk region are very offended by the regional leadership, "which abandoned them and does not participate in their lives."

In turn, representatives of the Ukrainian forces are helping residents of Kursk region with food, firewood, and medicine.

The Russian army continues massive shelling of its settlements.

"We see a crater, a burnt-out substation, we see damaged houses. You can't understand Russia with your mind. "Everything that the Ukrainian army tried to do for the city of Sudzha was crossed out by one explosion," says Oleksiy Dmitrashkovsky, a representative of the Ukrainian military commandant's office in the Kursk region.

At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to prepare Sudzha in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation for the cold weather, providing everything necessary.

"The commandant's office is trying to help people with all their problems. In particular, they provide them with water, bread, and food. There was also an attempt to establish a water supply, but due to constant shelling by KABs and the constant operation of FPV drones, the generator in the city of Sudzha also failed. Therefore, today this is impossible," the speaker said.
