The deputy commander of the Special Forces announced “passages for the sabotage and reconnaissance groups” on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

The Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus declares “increasing tension” on the border with Ukraine and claims that “they want to drag our country into a war.”

“We have information that Ukraine is moving troops, weapons, and military equipment to our borders. Surely, so that in the future, through these passages, it will be possible for enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups and raid detachments to penetrate our territory in order to carry out sabotage and terrorist acts on our Belarusian soil. In addition, we know that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have deployed electronic intelligence surveillance systems near our borders and widely use unmanned aerial vehicles. From time to time they violate the border and fly into our territory,” the ideologist said.

He assured that “special operations forces units will do everything possible and even impossible to protect the Republic of Belarus.”

The day before, the State Border Committee announced that the Russian Volunteer Corps was in the zone of responsibility of the Zhytomyr border detachment, reconnaissance flights of Ukrainian drones occurred along the border with Belarus, and a cache “with components for the manufacture of improvised explosive devices” was found in the same direction.
