Russians ‘Dropped’ Dozens Of Bombs On Belgorod Region

The Washington Post revealed Russian data.

Russians have counted that dozens of their aerial bombs fell on the Belgorod region over the year. Russian soldiers usually attack Ukraine with such weapons.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to The Washington Post.

The publication, citing an internal Russian document intercepted by Ukrainian intelligence, claims that at least 38 aerial bombs fell on the Belgorod region between April 2023 and April 2024.

Most of the aerial bombs were found by civilians — foresters, farmers or residents of nearby villages. At the same time, in most cases, the Russian Ministry of Defense did not know when the bombs were launched. Therefore, some of the ammunition could have been lying there for several days.

The document says that at least four bombs fell on Belgorod. Another seven were found near the regional center. The largest number of bombs, 11, fell in the Graivoron district, which borders Ukraine.

Also, according to WP, the intercepted document contains a table of incidents indicating emergency orders for bomb disposal and evacuation.
