Russian Missile Unit Bombed Down Near Balaklava In Crimea

Satellite images with the consequences of the strike have appeared.

By the evening of July 1, explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Despite that the local occupation authorities said that it was the work of the air defence system, satellite images with the consequences of the strike appeared in the network. This was reported by the monitoring telegram channel of "Crimean Wind".

At about 19:00 there was a report about the fly-in in the area of Balaklava. Thick, black smoke rose at the site.

"It flew in quite heavily. And there was a Russian missile unit somewhere there. It seems to have repelled the attack with itself. We have not seen such smoke with rings," stated the message.

Half an hour later, the so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said that Sevastopol's air defence was working, all services had been put on alert and the military was working to destroy aerial targets.

After another hour, Razvozhayev reported that:

fences of private houses seem to be burning and a fire has risen in a forest belt (it is not specified where exactly);

grass was on fire in one of the garden associations;

3 cars were damaged by missile debris.

He also stated that there were no victims.

However, at 21:04, the "Crimean Wind" telegram channel found out that the explosion and fire took place in a military unit near the village of Flotske (Karan) in Balaklava.

"Now the fire has been extinguished, and it is still unknown what exactly exploded," stated the public page.

Later, the Crimean Wind monitoring group, based on the analysis of photos and videos, found out what landed in the Russian missile unit near the village of Flotske in Balaklava and released the relevant satellite images.

In addition, according to the subscribers of "Crimean Wind", windows and glass were blown out in private houses near the blown up Russian unit.
