Lukashenka Receives Ultimatum

The week promises to be very interesting.

Lukashenka has received an ultimatum. His mood is far from festive. The old tricks do not work anymore. After the parade on July 3 in Minsk, he will have to go to Astana for a serious conversation. If Lukashenka hasn't realised it yet, everything will be explained to him there.

The demands have been voiced and passed on: the release of political prisoners and an end to the migration war on the border between Belarus and Poland.

It is in his interests to resolve the situation as soon as possible. It's a bad idea to start membership in the SCO, which is not yet legally formalised, with a scandal with the founders of the organisation.

The sudden resignation of Foreign Minister Aleinik is related, among other things, to the situation that arose after the ultimatum was delivered.
